 Employees from Crowley’s office in Honduras presented $5,400 to Amor y Vida (Center for Love and Life). The foundation which is a home for abandoned and orphaned children battling HIV and AIDS, will use this charitable donation to purchase needed medications. In addition to the donation, local employees volunteer their time at the home and with local events. A group recently took the children to Pizza Hut to participate in the Scholar Pizza Program, which was created by Comidas Especializadas (representatives of Pizza Hut franchises). This program is dedicated to showing children 6 - 12 years old how the restaurants operate. During the event, kids enjoy making their own pizzas by following the instructions from the restaurant manager and Crowley volunteers.
