Caribbean Detention and Demurrage Charges

Effective February 22, 2015, detention charges will be increased by $10 per unit for dry and reefer equipment, specialized equipment charges will be increased by $25 per unit. Charges will be applicable at destination covering Anguilla, Antigua, Barbados, Montserrat, Nevis, Saba, St Barts, St Eustatius, St Kitts, St Maarten, St Vincent, Tortola, Trinidad, Virgin Gorda, St Croix, St Thomas and St John, US VI. Please advise your customers.

Caribbean Intermodal Transportation Service Charge

Due to increasing costs associated with US Truck and Rail inland transportation Crowley announces an Intermodal Transportation Service charge of $100 per unit to be effective February 22, 2015. This charge will apply on all Inland movements (Rail and Truck) in the United States to and from the Caribbean not including those from the South Florida drayage area. This Intermodal Transportation Service Charge covers cargo from the United States destined to Antigua, Anguilla, Barbados, Montserrat, Nevis, Saba, St Barts, St Eustatius, St Kitts, St. Maarten, St. Vincent, Tortola, Trinidad, Virgin Gorda, St. Croix, St. Thomas and St. John, USVI.

This charge will be applicable on all open tariff and contract shipments.
