New Build Tank Vessels
As part of our commitment to the Jones Act, we maintain the most active new build tank vessel program of any U.S. owner/operator. We are actively seeking customers, shipyards and partners to build new tankers and barges.
In 2002, we took delivery of four new double-hulled Articulated Tug Barges. These ATBs were the result of an extremely successful new build program in which we partnered with oil companies and shipyards. This partnership yielded a group of highly sophisticated tug barge units specifically designed and equipped to handle a unique set of requirements.
As part of our longstanding to our customers and the Jones Act, we’re ready to pursue new build programs for double-hull tank vessels and ATBs.
