Avik Class - The Avik Class tugs are designed for utilization with oil barges in the coastwise and river trades of Western Alaska.
Their stern configuration shrouds the triple screw propellers in tunnels enabling these tugs to work at very shallow drafts.

The 750 Class 330,000-barrel Articulated Tug and Barge (ATB) will be the largest in the company’s history and the fastest in their class. Once received, the three new Jones Act ATBs (Legacy/750-1, Legend/750-2 and Liberty/750-3) will be operated in the U.S. coastwise trade by Crowley’s petroleum services segment.
