Busch joined Crowley in 1987 as an ordinary seaman and since that time has served aboard company tugs as a chief mate. He came ashore in 1994 as a dispatcher; and has held a variety of other positions of increasing responsibility. He has managed the company’s ship-assist and marine services contract businesses, overseen pricing and the negotiating of contracts and managed the commercial activities for Crowley’s emergency response services and the U.S. Navy salvage contract. He was named vice president of Titan Salvage & Wreck Removal in October 2005. Todd also serves as a director, representing Crowley and Titan on the boards for the Marine Response Alliance, LLC and the Clean Pacific Alliance. He is a member and current president of the International Salvage Union executive committee. Prior to joining Crowley, Busch sailed with the Southwest Alaska Pilots Association.
He attended Arizona State University and holds two licenses: Master, 100 Gross Tons Inspected Vessels; and Mate, 200 Gross Tons Inspected Vessels.
